My name is Micah Eckert (BSc) and I am Ecohydrologist and a Master of Science student at the University of British Columbia in the Team Shrub (Myers-Smith) Lab.
I study hydrological and ecological change in the Canadian Arctic through the use of field, drone, and satellite data. I am passionate about remote sensing / GIS, and understanding holistic ecosystem change due to anthropogenic climate change.
I completed my undergraduate degree in McMaster's Integrated Science program and achieved a Concurrent Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
